Our mission is to demystify project management by offering project management education, free learning resources and industry-endorsed certifications. We tailor our education and training to our member's industry, experience and learning style.
We are not tied to any specific project management methodology. Instead, our goal is to share best practices across various industries and methodologies to achieve better project outcomes.

Accordingly, alongside project management programs, we provide a variety of industry-specific training courses to help you master industry foundations. These courses are particularly helpful for those new to an industry or changing careers.

About William Ryan (Managing Director)
William has close to a decade of experience working alongside Australian project teams in diverse industries. He started his career as a Projects Infrastructure and Construction lawyer at MinterEllison, and then as a New Energy Senior Associate at Hamilton Locke.
Throughout his career, William has had the privilege of collaborating with project teams on a wide range of complex projects, from transport, large-scale construction and renewable energy generation and storage projects. This hands-on experience (including a secondment at Transport for NSW on the New Intercity Fleet project) demonstrated that time and again the most successful project teams are those that have a solid foundation in project management principles, where every team member understands their role, responsibilities, and how to manage projects effectively.
Through William’s journey, he’s come to believe that no amount of software can replace the value of properly trained individuals who understand the core concepts of project management. This belief has shaped his approach, and now, with Project Management Planet, he is passionate about equipping others with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in their own projects, no matter the industry or scope.
